Happy Anniversary to US!

Tomorrow, August 2nd, John and I will be celebrating our 24th Wedding Anniversary...after painting, glueing and nailing our table and chairs together for over 17 years, I told John that I knew exactly what I wanted for a present...So, here it is!! I just love it and I feel so blessed!

Twin Falls Temple Open House

We went to the Twin Falls Temple Open House on Saturday. It was a beautiful bright sunny day. Almost too bright to catch the beauty of the temple without all of the shadows. I posted a few of the best I took. The temple is half the size of the Rexburg Temple but looks alot like the Rexburg Temple from the outside. They did a fabulous job of replicating the surrounding southern Idaho look in everything you see in and outside of the temple. The colors inside are taupe and baby blue. Big wide halls that reminded me of the Manti Temple. The most impressive part were the huge, gorgeous chandeliers in the Celestial room and the Sealing rooms. Another beautiful part was the huge murial of the Shoshone Falls in the first endowment room. It takes your breath away when you enter. The landscaping is done with lots of rocks and waterfalls that look alot like the deep Snake River Canyon. It was a wonderful day!
