There shall be eternal summer in the grateful heart.
My post title says it all...We are enjoying the beautiful sun in this season called "summer" and all that goes with the sun drenched days and the starlit nights. Our hearts are also celebrating with grateful hearts. We have now been in Meridian, Idaho 1 year this week. We started this new journey not knowing what was ahead for us but like my favorite quote: "Sometimes what you want isn't always what you get, but in the end what you get is so much better than what you wanted." We are enjoying our life with magical moments with our families. Our cup runneth over!

I never understood why my mother would wait a week to wipe away the hand prints left from my children from her closet mirrors in her bedroom after we had spent a week with her....now I know.
We just spent a wonderful week with Stephanie & Jack and Vanessa & Chloe. We did everything from shopping, eating, making jewelry, watching video's, to taking pictures laying in bed together, talking and of course lots of kissing and playing with the babes! What a great way to start 2010 and make our bleak January bright and sunny!!
Stephanie & Vanessa are amazing mom's....I love watching them...I'm truly in awe and inspired by their love...thank you girls for a week I will never forget.

"All I do is dream of you...."
I just got one of my most favorite Christmas presents early....the new Michael Buble CD and I'm just addicted to the song "All I do is dream of you". Listening to that while driving to work keeps me smiling all day long!!
We've had a wonderful month with all of our children and grandbabies coming home for Thanksgiving. It was perfect and I never wanted it to end. We are truly blessed with the best children on earth. Our love for our family continues to grow as we continue to make these moments happen in our busy lives. With Christmas just around the corner, we are anxious to spend the next few weeks with Briana for some one on one "Briana time". The others are off to spend Christmas with their in-law's. We are grateful to have my sister Caran and her family nearby to enjoy the holiday's with.
